Required columns for data feed files

Before you can promote items from your catalogue in an ad, you first need to upload a file that contains information about the items you want to include in your ad. This file is called a data feed.
When you create a data feed, you add a list of items to a supported file format: CSV, TSV or XML. To ensure that your data feed is uploaded successfully to your catalogue, you need to include a series of required columns in your data feed. The type of feed you upload determines which columns you use. If your data feed doesn't include one or more of these columns, you may encounter an error when you upload the data feed to Facebook.
Required columns
Include these columns in your data feed and follow the guidelines for each entry to successfully upload your data feed to Facebook. The required columns are different depending on the items you're advertising.

If you want to add optional hotel room and pricing information to your listing, add these required columns.
