Movie & show purchases or rentals
If you've purchased or rented a movie or TV show on YouTube, you can return or cancel your purchase anytime within 7 days of purchase if you have not started to play the video. If you haven't watched your show or movie, you can request a refund directly from the Purchases tab of the YouTube app or website.
If you ordered content or features that are defective, unavailable, or do not perform as stated, you may contact our support team to request a refund at any time. When a refund is granted, we'll revoke access to the content and your money will be returned within the refund timelines listed below.
YouTube Premium & YouTube Music Premium memberships
You may cancel a YouTube paid membership at any time. Once you cancel, you will not be charged again, and your benefits will continue until the end of the billing cycle. Note that you won't be refunded for the period of time between when you cancel and when your membership officially ends.
If content or features related to your YouTube paid membership are defective, unavailable, or do not perform as stated, you may contact our support team to request a refund at any time. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially elapsed billing periods.
If you're a member who signed up via iTunes, you’ll need to contact Apple support to request a refund for your membership. Apple’s refund policy will apply.
Super Chat
Super Chat voluntary payments are non-refundable. If you notice an unauthorized Super Chat charge on your account, please contact our support team.
If you purchased a Super Chat on an iOS device, you'll need to contact Apple Support to request a refund. Apple's own refund policy will apply.
