About auto-tracking
When you assign your offline event set to ad accounts, your offline event data can be attributed to the existing campaigns and ads in those ad accounts from that date forward. You also have the option to enable auto-tracking, which means that any future campaigns in those ad accounts will automatically be associated with your offline event set as well. We recommend enabling auto-tracking so new ads will immediately be included in your offline conversion and attribution reporting.
You can enable auto-tracking while creating an offline event set and assigning ad accounts to it. For each assigned ad account, make sure that the Auto-tracking toggle is set to ON.
When you create a new ad in an ad account that has auto-tracking turned on, the assigned offline event set appears in the last step under Offline tracking. Use this information to verify which event set should contain the data related to the ad being created, then continue to upload offline event data to that event set.
