Create an audience based on offline event data

You can use your offline event data to create Custom and Lookalike Audiences for your advertising campaigns. For example, you can retarget high-value customers or exclude customers who recently made purchases offline in order to find new customers.

  1. Go to Offline events and select an offline event set.
  2. Click Create audience and select Custom or Lookalike from the drop-down, depending on the type of audience you want to create. Note: You will need to create a Custom Audience before you can create a Lookalike Audience based on your offline event data.

Create a Custom Audience

Retarget people with specific characteristics based on up to approximately two years (720 days) of offline conversion data. For instance, you can create an audience of your customers who purchased a specific item or category of items in your shops in the last year. The audience will continually refresh based on offline event data that you uploaded within the time frame you specified.

Select an option from the Audience type drop-down to specify a purchase value, event type or create a custom rule for your audience.

Create a Lookalike Audience

Find and reach new people who are similar to customers who have already interacted with your business or recently converted offline.

To use a saved audience for a new ad set, click Use a saved audience at the top of the Audience section during ad set creation and select the one that you want to use from the drop-down.

Note: If you want to edit the audience for your new ad set, click the Edit button that appears to make changes. You can also access and edit your saved audiences by selecting Audiences from the Business Manager menu.
