Security Centre is a space within Business Manager for you to safeguard your business and the people who manage it.

Security Centre is free and available to all Business Manager users who care about effectively protecting their Facebook information. When you visit Security Centre, you can use risk prevention features through a provided checklist that is customised to your business so you can take action.

With Security Centre, you can:

• See notifications in Business Home: When you sign in to Business Manager, you'll see a dynamic card at the top of the screen that will let you know if you have any security notices that you should attend to. Once you address all of your alerts, this card will disappear. The card will reappear if we need to notify you of any new security risks.
• Turn on two-factor authentication: Two-factor authentication is an optional security feature for Business Manager where you'll be asked to enter a special security code each time you try to access Business Manager from a new computer or mobile phone.
• Manage account access: Review people in your business who have been inactive in the last three months and remove them if they should no longer have access to your business information.
• Add another admin: In the event that your only admin leaves your business, it's helpful to have another admin added to your business to maintain admin duties and keep your business running smoothly.

For example, each quarter, you may want to do a security clean up of your Business Manager to ensure that your employees have the appropriate permissions. You can log in to Business Manager, go to your Security Centre, view the number of inactive employees and remove them if they no longer need access.
