When someone clicks on your ad, they will land on the destination that you choose based on the objective that you choose.

Your ad can send people to:

• Pages, apps or events that you admin on Facebook
• Pages admin'd by other people
• External websites

For example, you can send people to your website by choosing Traffic or Conversions as your objective when you create your ad. If you want to send people to a Facebook Page or an event, choose Engagement as your objective.
