View aggregated data for your Facebook campaigns, ad sets or ads

Use the summary row at the bottom of your results table in Ads Manager to see aggregated data by breakdown for all your campaigns, ad sets and ads.

View your summary breakdown in Ads Manager

  1. Go to Ads Manager.
  2. Click Campaigns, Ad sets or Ads depending on what you want to view.
  3. You can view combined results for all of the objects or a select group of objects:
    • To view results for all of the objects, you first need to select a breakdown. In the top right-hand corner, click Breakdown and select a breakdown from the list such as Age, Gender or Country.
    • To view results for select objects, tick the box next to each object and click View In the top right-hand corner, click Breakdown and select a breakdown from the list such as Age, Gender or Country.
  4. After selecting a breakdown, you can also add any filters. Click the Filters drop-down and click on the filters that you'd like to add.
  5. At the bottom of the table, click the arrow next to Results from.

You should now see a list of combined results beside the breakdown and filters you chose for all of your campaigns, ad sets or ads.

Note: Some metrics are unavailable to view for all campaigns, ad sets or ads. If a metric is unavailable, it will appear greyed out in the Breakdown menu.

To view your summary breakdown in your reports:

  1. Navigate to Ads reporting from the Ads Manager menu.
  2. If you can't see any data in the reporting table, click Create Report. Otherwise, you can click on the name of a report you already have saved.
  3. Above the table, click the Levels drop-down.
  4. Select Campaigns, Ad sets or Ads depending on what you want to look at.
  5. You can view combined results for all of the objects or a select group of objects:
    • To view results for all of the objects, you first need to select a breakdown. In the top right-hand corner, click Breakdown and select a breakdown from the list such as Age, Gender or Country.
    • To view results for selected objects, tick the box next to each object. In the top right-hand corner, click Breakdown and select a breakdown from the list such as Age, Gender or Country.
  6. After selecting a breakdown, you can also add any filters. Click the Filters drop-down and click on the filters that you'd like to add.
  7. At the bottom of the table, click the arrow next to Results from.

You should now see a list of combined results beside the breakdown and filters you chose for all of your campaigns, ad sets or ads.

Note: Some metrics are unavailable to view for all campaigns, ad sets or ads. If a metric is unavailable, it will appear greyed out in the Breakdown menu.

For metrics such as Results or Cost, there may be different values for each campaign, ad set or ad. For example, let's say you created a campaign using the Boost your Posts advertising objective, the Results column will show the number of Page engagements your campaign received. If on another campaign, you chose the Send people to your website ad objective, the Results column will show the number of Website Clicks your campaign received. Since these results are based on different metrics, they can't be combined and will appear blank in your Results from summary breakdown.
