Remove your bank account from your payment methods

This article is for advertisers who want to manage the payment methods that they use for Facebook ads. For help with managing the payment methods connected to your personal Facebook account (e.g. for games, donations and Messenger), go here instead.
You can remove your bank account from your payment methods if you no longer want it to be connected to your ad account.
Before you begin
- Do you need help with a charge or don't recognise activity on your ad account? Take these steps.
- This article only covers removing a bank account from your Facebook ad account. If you want to remove your credit card, debit card or PayPal account, take these steps instead.
- If you want to remove your bank account but keep advertising on Facebook, add another payment method to your ad account first.
- If you want to remove your bank account and close your ad account, follow the steps for deactivating your ad account.
Steps for removing your bank account from your payment methods
- Go to your payment settings in Ads Manager.
- In the Payment method section, find your bank account and then click Remove.
- On the confirmation screen, click Remove.
Note: If you didn't see your bank account, click Show other payment methods.
Your bank account will be removed from your account. Learn more about other accepted payment options for ads.
