If you published an ad without customizing your assets for placements, you can customize your assets for Instagram feed.

Before you begin

You cannot edit the image or video in your ad:

• If you boosted your post
• If your campaign objective is Post Engagement, Page Likes, Event Responses or Offer Claims.

Instead, you should pause or delete your existing ad then create a new ad.

Edit your ad

To edit your ad:

1. Go to Ads Manager.
2. Choose Ads.
3. Click to check the box next to the ad with the image or video you want to update.
4. Click to open the editing pane.
5. Edit your image or video:
   • Click to choose a new image, slideshow or video.
   • Edit an existing video by clicking Thumbnail & Captions. You can select a different preview image for your video and add or change video captions for your video.
   • Click Use a different image for Instagram or Use a different video for Instagram to upload different content for Instagram.
   • Crop images by clicking . If you chose an Instagram image, you can experiment with Original, Landscape and Square crops.
6. Finish making your changes, then click Publish.

Your ad will continue to run, following review, with the amended Instagram assets.
