Before following the steps below, you'll need to have a Business Manager. If you don't have one, you can sign up for a Business Manager account to get started.

Bear in mind that you can also add an Instagram account through your Page and then use it to run ads.

To add an Instagram account to your Business Manager:

1. Go to your Business Manager.
2. On the left-hand side of the page, click Business settings > Instagram accounts.
3. Click Claim new Instagram account.
4. Add your username and password, then click Next.
5. To authorise one or more of your ad accounts to use the Instagram account, tick the box next to each ad account and click Save changes.

When you access Instagram accounts from your Settings, you should be able to see all of the Instagram accounts that you've added, as well as any ad accounts that are authorised to use the Instagram accounts.

Note: To run ads using an Instagram handle, you'll need to associate ad accounts with the handle in Business Manager. Learn how to assign an ad account to work on an Instagram account in your Business Manager.
