Export ad performance data

Some columns can't be exported to a spreadsheet. These columns are: Tags, Age, Gender, Location, Body, Destination type, Link (URL), Preview link, Related Page and Title. You can still view data for these columns in the reporting table.

You can export your ad performance data as a CSV or Microsoft Excel (.xls) file. You can then share this data with other people, such as clients or partners.

  1. Click Export.
  2. Click Export Table Data.

  3. Select either of the export options in the dialogue that appears:
    • Save as .xls: Export your data to an Excel spreadsheet.
    • Save as .csv: Export your data to a comma-separated values document.
    • Export to Facebook Ads Manager for Excel: Export your data from Ads Manager to Facebook Ads Manager for Excel, which is an add-in that allows you to download and analyse your ad performance data from your Facebook ad accounts in Microsoft Excel 2016.   4. (Optional) Click to check the following options if you want to include them in your exported document.
    • Include deleted items with delivery: Include deleted ads that were delivered to your audience in your exported data.
    • Include summary row: Include a summary of the results from your ads in your exported data.

    Note: If you choose Export to Facebook Ads Manager for Excel, you can't choose to include deleted items or summary rows.

  5. Click Export.
