About the review process for apps, websites and Facebook Pages where ads could appear

At Facebook, we review advertising creative before it runs and enforce Community Standards for the content that individuals can share on Facebook and Instagram.

Similarly, publishers go through a few steps before they see delivery on Audience Network:

  1. They must send a request from each unique domain.
  2. Each domain is then reviewed for brand safety and quality by our Business Integrity Team.
  3. If our brand safety standards are met, the publisher is permitted to start receiving Audience Network ads.
  4. Publishers are continuously reviewed to confirm that each property remains compliant with our content policies.
  5. Our automated systems also continuously analyse Pages to ensure that publishers are driving real value for advertisers.

These policies are designed to try and create a safer environment for advertisers choosing placements.
