Manage offline event set permissions

Offline event data can only be uploaded to an offline event set by specific users:

  • Business Manager admin
  • Business employee with offline event set admin role for that offline event set
  • Business Manager system user (if you're uploading with the Offline Conversions API)

You can manage Business Manager and offline event set admin roles in Business settings.

To add a Business Manager admin:

  1. Go to Business settings > People.
  2. Click Add new people. Enter the applicable email address(es) and select Admin. Verify that you want the person to have all of the Business Manager admin capabilities in the list and then click Add people.

To add an offline event set admin or to share an offline event set with another business:

  1. Go to Business settings > Offline event sets.
  2. Select an offline event set and then click Add people to assign the offline event set admin role to people within your business. Or click Assign partner to share the offline event set with another business using their business ID.

Note: If you need to share an offline event set with a data partner and/or agency, we recommend having the data owner create the offline event set in their business and then sharing it with the other businesses or ad accounts. Depending on your business arrangement, this means that it may be optimal for your data partner to create the offline event set and share it with your business, since they will be uploading data to it.
