By default, users can add YouTube videos to their websites and apps by embedding them. You can restrict their ability to embed your videos by setting rules for videos that you own (Licensed content) and videos you claim (User uploaded content).

To restrict the sites or apps where users can embed your videos:

1. Navigate to the Settings Overview page for your YouTube content owner.
2. Click the pencil icon to the right of the Block embedding on domains (to restrict sites) or Block embedding in apps (to restrict apps).
3. From the User uploaded content drop-down box, select the embedding rule for videos that are claimed against one of your assets.
   1. Allow on all domains (in all apps) (the default) – No restrictions on embedding
   2. Block on all domains (in all apps) – Don't allow any embedding of the videos
   3. Block on certain domains (in apps based on ID) – Don't allow users to embed videos to specific sites or apps:
      1. For sites: enter the URLs (comma separated if more than one) you want to block embeds in.
      2. For apps: enter the app package name (comma separated if more than one) you want to block embeds in.
   4. Allow on certain domains (in apps based on ID) – Block embedding on all sites or apps except for those URLs or app package names you enter in the text box.
4. From the Licensed content drop-down box, select the embedding rule for videos on your channels.
5. Click Save.
