A performance target forecasts campaign group performance so you know whether you’re on track to meet specific numeric goals. If it looks like you're not on track, you can consider adjusting your campaign’s settings to improve performance.

Current performance targets can be edited at any time. Historical performance targets cannot be edited. 

Before you begin

If you haven’t yet set any performance targets, learn how.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Google Ads account. 
2. Click Campaign groups in the left navigation panel.
3. Click the name of the campaign group that contains the performance target you want to edit.
4. Click the Performance targets tab.
5. Select the row of the performance target you want to edit.

6. Click the Edit drop-down menu.

   • To edit a performance target: Click Edit, adjust your target, and click Save.
   • To remove a performance target: Click Remove
