Sign out or remove an account from YouTube on TV

If you have access to the device:

To sign out:

  1. Open the YouTube app on your TV.
  2. Select the left menu.
  3. Select your Account icon to open the accounts page.
  4. Select the Guest profile and click “Use Account.”

To remove your account from the device:

  1. Open the YouTube app on your TV.
  2. Select the left menu.
  3. Select your Account icon to open the accounts page.
  4. Select your account from the list and click “Remove Account.”

If you no longer have access to the device, or would like to sign out remotely:

For Xbox

  1. Open https://myaccount.google.com/permissionson any device.
  2. Select “YouTube app for Xbox” from the list of Google apps.
  3. Select “Remove Access.”

For PlayStation 4

  1. Open https://myaccount.google.com/permissionson any device.
  2. Select “PlayStation Network” from the list of third-party apps with account access.
  3. Select “Remove Access.”

For Android TV

  1. Open https://myaccount.google.com/permissionson any device.
  2. Select your Android TV from the list of Devices.
  3. Select “Remove Access.”
Note: Removing Android TV from your list of devices will entirely remove your Google Account from the Android TV.

For all other devices

  1. Open https://myaccount.google.com/permissionson any device.
  2. Select “YouTube on TV” from the list of Google apps.
  3. Select “Remove Access.”
