What are the different ways to donate on YouTube?
You can donate to U.S. nonprofits from YouTube through Fundraisers, Community Fundraisers, and donation cards. You can learn how to donate on YouTube here.
Some of these features are only available to a small group of select creators. These creators are helping us pilot the features. Our aim is to expand these features to more creators in 2019.
If you’re in the U.S., you can also make donations through Super Chat for Good.
What are donation cards?
Donation cards are one way to make voluntary payments to U.S. or select U.K. nonprofits from YouTube. If a YouTube creator has a donation card enabled, you'll see an "i" icon 
I see a "Yes, donate" button on a video watch page. How does that work?
On the video watch page, you may see a Yes, Donate button below the video (on a web browser) or at the bottom of the page (on a mobile device). Creators can use these buttons to raise money for charity, and this is another way for you to donate to a nonprofit on YouTube.
If you'd like to make a donation, select Yes, Donate for further instructions.
Can I get a refund on a nonprofit voluntary donation?
Voluntary donations to nonprofits are non-refundable. If you're having trouble with a payment, you may contact our support team.
What information do you share with the nonprofits when I make a donation?
We do not provide your contact information to the nonprofits or charities featured in donation cards. We do not provide your contact information to the YouTube creator.
How do I delete my donation history?
Your donation history from Google's donation initiatives (One Today, Donation Cards on YouTube and Google crisis response campaigns) is stored under a common account.
You can delete your account on One Today. If you chose to delete this account, any actions you took on the One Today platform will be anonymized. Donations made with donation cards, Fundraisers, Community Fundraisers, and for Google crisis response campaigns are already anonymous.

How are nonprofits selected to participate?
YouTube creators can select any U.S. 501(c)3 public charity in good standing. Nonprofits are not endorsed by YouTube or Google.
How much of my voluntary payment will reach the nonprofit?
The nonprofit will get all of your donation. Google covers the processing fees. Unless mentioned otherwise, your donation is unrestricted, so funds may be used by the nonprofit at it sees fit. It may take up to two months for a donation to reach the nonprofit.
Google partners with Network for Good, a U.S. nonprofit donor advised fund, to collect and distribute the donations to nonprofits made on YouTube. As required by the Internal Revenue Service, Network for Good has exclusive legal control over the donations once received. If Network for Good cannot disburse the funds to the nonprofit selected by the YouTube creator, Network for Good will distribute the funds to an alternate qualified U.S. nonprofit.
What if the nonprofit designated to receive my donation becomes ineligible?
If Network for Good, Google's donor advised fund partner, is unable to distribute funds for a project to the intended nonprofit for any reason (including that the nonprofit is not a valid United States 501(c)(3) organization), Google will work with Network for Good to select an alternate qualifying nonprofit.

Why does my credit card receipt mention Network for Good?
Google partners with Network for Good, a U.S. nonprofit donor advised fund, to collect and distribute the donations made to the nonprofits on YouTube. For each transaction, you will see a line item on your credit card receipt that notes you made a donation through Network for Good.
What is Network for Good? Why is my donation directed there?
Google partners with Network for Good, an industry leader in donor advised funds, to collect and distribute the donations at Google’s request. 100% of your contribution during the pilot period will go to the nonprofit (YouTube will take care of processing fees). As required by the U.S. IRS, Network for Good, as a donor advised fund, has exclusive legal control over the donations once received. Please note, if Network for Good cannot disburse the funds to the nonprofit selected by the YouTube creator, Network for Good will distribute the funds to an alternate qualified U.S. nonprofit.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Donors in the United States
If you are in the U.S., donations to 501(c)(3) organizations are generally tax deductible, but please check with your tax professional to be sure. You will receive a confirmation email from Google, which serves as your donation receipt and confirms that no goods or services were received.
Donors outside of the United States
Please check with your tax adviser. Your donation may not be tax deductible if you are a resident of Canada.
Your donation is not tax deductible if you are a resident of one of the following countries:

- Sweden
- Switzerland
If you are in the United Kingdom, tax benefits are not available for your donation. You will receive a confirmation email from your Google Payments account, which serves as your donation receipt. Users who make donations will not receive anything of value for their donation.

There is a nonprofit that I support. How do I raise money for it on my channel?
Any of the 501(c)(3) nonprofits registered in the U.S. (verified by Guidestar) can be a recipient of a fundraising campaign on YouTube.
You can raise money for nonprofits using Donation cards, Fundraisers, Community Fundraisers, or Super Chat for Good. Some of these features are only available to a small group of select creators. These creators are helping us pilot the features. Our aim is to expand these features to more creators in 2019.
How do I take part in Fundraisers, Community Fundraisers, or Super Chat for Good?
We are piloting new Fundraiser, Community Fundraiser, and Super Chat for Good features with a small number of US and Canadian creators. We’ll be expanding access in several phases in 2019.
How do nonprofits get the donations?
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations registered in the US will receive donations through Network for Good's Donor Advised Fund. Funds are given to the nonprofit about 90 days after the end of the month that the donation was made. For example, if the donation was made January 1, the nonprofit would get the donation 90 days after January 31.
