A Facebook shop lets you show and sell products to people directly in Facebook itself. All products must comply with our policies. Learn how to add the type of shop section that works best for your business below.

Note: Your shop types are different depending on your location.

Check out on another website

This type of shop sends people to another website to complete a purchase. Here's how to add a Check out on another website shop to your Page:

1. On your Page, click the Shop tab. If you don't see the Shop tab, follow these steps to add it.
2. If you agree to our Merchant Terms and Policies, tick the I agree to the Merchant Terms and Policies box, then click Continue. You may need to enter your Facebook password again for security purposes.
3. Choose Check out on another website and click Continue. You will include the website when you add products to your shop section.
4. Choose the currency you want to use. This currency will apply to all your products and can't be changed unless you delete your shop and create a new one.
5. Click Save.

Message to buy

This type of shop lets customers message you to learn more about your products. Here's how to add a Message to buy shop to your Page:

1. On your Page, click the Shop tab. If you don't see the Shop tab, follow these steps to add it.
2. If you agree to our Merchant Terms and Policies, tick the I agree to the Merchant Terms and Policies box, then click Continue. You may need to enter your Facebook password again for security purposes.
3. Choose Message to buy so your customers can message you about products they're interested in. Then, click Continue.
4. Choose the currency you want to use. This currency will apply to all your products and can't be changed unless you delete your shop and create a new one.
5. Click Save.

Bear in mind that your shop section will only appear to your customers after you've added at least one product and it has been reviewed and approved.

If you need to take a break from creating your shop, we'll save your progress. When you return to your Page, click the Finish Setup button to start again from your most recent step.

Here's how to delete a shop from your Page:

1. Click the Shop tab.
2. Click the drop-down and select Delete Shop.
3. Click the Delete Shop button.

Your shop and all products will now be deleted, but the Shop tab will still be visible on your Page. Learn how to remove the Shop tab and other Page tabs.

Note: If you integrated your shop section with a third-party website and want to delete your shop, you must remove it through the integration you used.
