The Miniplayer allows you to continue watching videos while you browse YouTube. The player supports Playlists, Livestreams, and any other videos.

Launch the Miniplayer

Launch the Miniplayer by pressing the Miniplayer button  in the video, next to the fullscreen and theater mode buttons. This will take you back to the page you were just browsing (e.g. Homepage, Search page). 

Watch in the Miniplayer

The video will continue to play in the Miniplayer as you navigate around the site. You can pause, seek, and play the previous or next video using controls on the Miniplayer.

Exit the Miniplayer

Dismiss the Miniplayer by clicking the “X” button at the top-right of the player or hitting ESC on your keyboard. You can also go back to the video watch page by clicking the Miniplayer title, or by clicking anywhere on the Miniplayer outside of the controls.
