Create a Custom Audience from full-screen experience engagement
To create a full-screen experience engagement Custom Audience (from Instant Experience and collection):
- Go to your Audiences.
- Click the Create audience drop-down and select Custom Audience. Note: If you haven't created an audience yet, you'll see a Create a Custom Audiences button (not a drop-down menu).
- Click Engagement.
- Click Full-screen experience.
- Use the first drop-down to decide if you want a person to have to meet any or all of the criteria that you set up with your rules sections to be included in or excluded from your audience.
- Use the second drop-down to start defining your first rules section by telling us if a person needs to open your Instant Experience or open it and click a link in it to be included in your audience (your first rules section must be inclusive – the rest can be either inclusive or exclusive).
- Enter the number of days that you want us to look back to find people who engaged.
Note: Here's an example of how this "look-back window" works: If you tell us to look back 30 days and a person engaged with your Instant Experience 29 days ago, they'll be a part of that rule (whether that means they're included in or excluded from the final audience). However, if they fail to engage again in the next day, they'll then be removed from it. Anyone new who engages within the time period and in the way you choose will be added to the rule (and included in or excluded from the audience as appropriate). This means that the audience is constantly being refreshed, so you don't need to edit or create a new audience of this type unless you want to change the rules sections.
- Use the third drop-down to choose the Page containing Instant Experience/collections you want to use. You can use any Page you're an advertiser on, as well as different Pages in different rules sections.
- Enter the name(s) of the Instant Experience(s) or collection(s) you want to use and select it/them.
- Click Include more or Exclude more to add additional rules sections to your audience. You can have five rules sections per audience.
- Add an audience name (and description, if desired).
- Click Create Audience.
