Boost posts that your Page is tagged in

If the creator/publisher has allowed the business partner to boost their post, the business partner has the option to either:

Boost using Page Insights/Business Manager

  1. Click on the Insights tab.
  2. Click on the Branded content section.
  3. Find the post that you want to boost and click Boost Post.

If the creator/publisher does not choose to let the business partner boost their post, they will not see the Boost option.

Boost using Ads Manager

To boost an existing post in Ads Manager:

  1. Start the process of creating a new ad.
  2. Click the Use existing post tab.
  3. Click on Select a Page post.
  4. When you see the box appear, click the branded content.
  5. Choose which branded content post you want to boost.
In both cases, people viewing the post will see the creator as the author of the post, though the business partner will be listed under Why am I seeing this ad?

If a business partner uses the Boost Post button in Page Insights or Business Manager, the only available objective is Page Post Engagement.

If a business partner selects Use existing post when creating an ad in Ads Manager, six objectives are available:

  • Video Views
  • Brand Awareness
  • Engagement (Page post)
  • Reach
  • Traffic (only website/Messenger)
  • Conversions (only website/Messenger)

The following objectives are not available:

  • Engagement (event response, Page likes)
  • App Installs
  • Lead Gen
  • Product Catalogue
  • Store Visits
  • Traffic (app)
  • Conversions (app)

In these cases, the business partner is not allowed to boost the creator/publisher's post. Business partners can, however, continue to share and boost the post.
