Now you can use your phone to list your own vehicle for sale on Marketplace. You can include details such as the year, make, model, transmission, mileage and vehicle type. This makes it easy for people shopping on Marketplace to find your listing.

Here's how to list your vehicle for sale on Marketplace:

1. Tap the Marketplace icon on your phone.
2. Tap the camera icon and choose Vehicles for sale.
3. Choose photos of your vehicle to upload and tap Next.
4. Fill in the details for Year, Make, Model and Mileage, and select Automatic or Manual transmission. Tap Next when you've finished.
5. Describe your vehicle. Include details such as condition, accident history and warranty.
6. Enter a price for your vehicle (we'll suggest a price range based on similar items in your area). Tap Next when you've finished.
7. Choose where you want to post your listing, such as your profile or other buy and sell groups on Facebook.
8. Tap Post when you've finished.

Once your vehicle is listed on Marketplace, people can message you to learn more about it.

Best practices for selling your vehicle

• Take your own photos. Use photos that show your vehicle in its current condition so that buyers can see what they're getting.
• Write a full, honest description. Let buyers know the condition of the vehicle you're selling. If you have certificates or original paperwork, those things can help buyers feel confident purchasing from you.
• Make sure the price is right. When you make your sale post, we'll let you know what similar items are selling for near you. You can also search similar items to compare.
• Mark your vehicle as sold once the transaction is complete to avoid confusing people who may think it's still available.
