Whenever you make a payment for your Facebook ads, a record of the transaction will become available in the billing section of your Ads Manager. There, you can see important details about payments that you've made, such as the reason why you were charged, the specific ad results that you were charged for and how much you paid in VAT charges (if applicable).

Steps to view VAT charges on your Facebook ad receipts

1. Go to the Billing section of your Ads Manager.
2. Click the date drop-down (located above your transactions) and choose the date range that you want to see charges for.
3. Hover over the Transaction ID you want a receipt for, then click . You'll download your receipt as a PDF file.
4. On your receipt, review the total next to "VAT":

Your receipt will always show a VAT total, even if you weren't charged VAT for that transaction. Bear in mind that if you change the account information that's listed on your receipts, any changes will only apply to future receipts.
