Where your mobile app ads appear

NEW: You can now run mobile app ads that appear in Facebook Messenger when you select Automatic placements or choose both Facebook News Feed and Facebook Messenger as placements in Ads Manager.

Mobile app ads appear in the following places:

  • News Feed on mobile web browsers
  • News Feed on the Facebook app for:
    • iOS devices
    • Android devices
    • Amazon Fire tablets
  • Mobile apps of our partners in the Audience Network

    • Including in-app rewarded videos for all mobile app install (MAI) ads with video creative

      Note: This feature is gradually being rolled out and may not be available to you at this time.

  • Facebook Messenger

Note: When creating your mobile app ad, you can choose to target it more narrowly so that it only appears in the places that are most relevant to your app.
