About event Custom Audiences for event ads

An event Custom Audience is a type of engagement Custom Audience that allows event advertisers to retarget people who show interest in new and old Facebook events.
When you use an event Custom Audience, you can include and exclude people who have engaged with an event on your Page.
- By including people who show interest in your event, you can re-engage with them on new events, products or services and encourage them to take action. You can also include people who engaged with your event within a certain time frame.
- By excluding people who've already responded to your event, you might reach a new audience.
Event Custom Audiences for all events
Advertisers can use these types of event Custom Audiences with their event ads. These audiences are based on how people have engaged with their events:
- People who have responded with Going or Interested
- People who have responded with Going
- People who have responded with Interested
- People who have visited the event page
- People who have engaged with the event page, including liking, sharing or commenting
Event Custom Audiences for ticketed events
This feature is being rolled out to event advertisers working with a Facebook event ticketing partner.
Event advertisers who work with a Facebook event ticketing partner to sell tickets can use these event Custom Audiences. These audiences are based on how people have engaged with the ticketed events:
- People who have visited, liked, shared, commented on or responded with Going or Interested to a ticketed event on Facebook and either have purchased or haven't purchased tickets
- People who have purchased tickets on Facebook
- People who haven't purchased tickets on Facebook
