My ad images aren't rendering properly
30/11/2019
The most common reason for images not rendering correctly (e.g. pixelated, blurry) is size. Make sure that the image you use is the recommended dimensions for that ad type.
For most ads, the best image size to upload is 1200 x 628 pixels, but we recommend a minimum width of 600 pixels for images. Take a look at the Facebook Ads Guide to see specific recommended image sizes for the type of ad that you're creating.
Note:
- You can upload these formats: .bmp, .dib, .gif, .iff, .jfif, .jp2, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .psd, .tif, .tiff, .wbmp, .webp or .xbm.
- If you're uploading a PNG file, bear in mind that you should keep the file size below 1 MB. PNG files larger than 1 MB may appear pixelated.
To check that your ad is rendering properly, learn how to preview an ad in Ads Manager.
