Note: For the purposes of this guide, we'll refer to this feature as the Products tab. However, if you're running dynamic ads for travel, this tab may be called Hotels, Flights, Destinations, Home Listings or Autos depending on the type of inventory in your catalogue.

Locate the Products tab

To find the Products tab:

  1. Go to Catalogue Manager. By default, you'll land on the Diagnostics page.
  2. If you're running standard dynamic ads, click Products. If you're running dynamic ads for travel, click Hotels, Flights or Destinations depending on the catalogue you're viewing.

Note: For the purposes of this guide, we'll refer to this feature as the Products tab. However, if you're running dynamic ads for travel, this tab may be called Hotels, Flights, Destinations, Home Listings or Autos depending on the type of inventory in your catalog.

You can use the Products tab to explore your products, view individual insights on the performance of products in your catalog and create new product sets. Learn how to locate the Products tab.

Within the Products tab, you can find the following features:

  • Filters: Use filters to narrow the products you see by availability, brand, price and more.
  • Create product sets: Quickly and easily create new product sets using filters.
  • Data: You can view data for specific product sets, products and your product catalog as a whole.

Filters

The Filters section allows you to filter down the products shown in the table to just products that match certain filters you apply. Some or all of the following standard filters may be available depending on the products and information you've included in your product catalog.

  • Availability
  • Gender
  • Condition
  • Brand
  • Category
  • Price

If you're running dynamic ads for travel, your filters section may include:

  • Brand
  • City
  • Country
Within these filters, you'll be able to select specific preferences. For example, if you have an Availability filter, you could choose to view only products that are currently in stock.

You can also apply multiple filters simultaneously. For example, you could view both products that are in stock and unisex.

Product Sets

The Products tab makes it easy to create new product sets based on filters you apply. To set up a new product set using filters, select the filters you'd like to apply on the left-hand side. Some filters will include fields you can check a box to select and some filters will include information you need to input manually.

Once you've selected all of the filters you'd like to include, you should see an option to Save as Product Set at the top of the screen above your grid of items.

After selecting this option, a window will open allowing you to add additional filters to your product set before creating it. If you don't want to add additional rules, give your new product set a name and click Create to finish creating your product set. Learn more about setting up product sets.

Data

Currently, the Products tab includes data related to the number of items in your catalog or product sets.

You can also see data at the item level. To view this data, click on an item in in the grid. Keep in mind that you can also view items in a list format by clicking Grid viewnext to List View.

After you click an item in the grid, a window should appear. In this window, you'll see feed attributes associated with the item. This information can be used to understand more about the item. This can help you develop new product sets based on the available information and your inventory over all.
