You can save time by letting Chrome fill out forms automatically with saved info, like your addresses or payment details. When you enter info in a new form online, Chrome might ask you to save it.

Add, edit, or delete your info

If you’ve turned sync on in Chrome, when you change your info, your changes will show up on your other devices. Learn how to choose what info is synced on other devices.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile Profile and then Payment methods or Addresses.
  3. Add, edit, or delete info: 
    • Add: Next to "Payment methods" or "Addresses," click Add.
    • Edit: To the right of the card or address, click More More and then Edit.
    • Delete: To the right of the card or address, click More More and then Remove. You might need to wait a few minutes for your card to be removed.

If you delete your credit card from Chrome, you may still need to delete it from Google Pay, depending on how you saved it.

Delete your saved info

  1. Follow the steps to clear your browsing data.
  2. Under "Advanced," choose Autofill form data.

Sync your payment info to Google Pay

If you’ve turned on sync for payment methods and addresses in Chrome and buy something online, Chrome might ask if you want to save your payment info in Google Pay. If you accept, your card will be saved in Google Pay.

Add, edit, or delete a credit card in Google Pay

  1. Go to pay.google.com.
  2. On the left, click Payment methods.
  3. Find the card you want to edit or delete. You can also add a new card.
    • Add: Click Add payment method. If you don't see the option to add a new card, go to play.google.com/store/account to add a payment method.
    • Edit: Below the card, click Edit.
    • Delete: Below the card, click Remove.

Stop syncing payment info to Google Pay

If you’re syncing credit cards and addresses in Chrome, Google Pay will still store your credit card info.

Most cards saved in Google Pay will show up as suggestions when you’re filling out forms online. To stop syncing payment info to Google Pay:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the top, under "People," click Sync.
  4. Turn off Payment methods and addresses using Google Pay.

Save contact info to your computer

To only save your info to your computer and not to your Google Account:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the top, under "People," click Sync.
  4. Turn off Sync everything.
  5. Turn off Autofill.

Stop saving info to Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the top, under “People”, click Payment methods or Addresses and more.

    • To stop saving payment info, turn off Save and fill payment methods.

    • To stop saving addresses and contact info, turn off Save and fill addresses.

Chrome doesn't suggest my saved info

If you don't get suggestions when you fill out a form, either:

  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome. If the website is secure, learn how to fix issues with saved info.
  • Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.
