Mobile app ads help you to get more people to install and engage with your app.

Mobile app ads can be used to:

  • Increase the number of people who install an app by directing people to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Learn more about creating mobile app install ads.

To get the most out of mobile app ads, use the Facebook SDK (Software Developer Kit) to optimise your ads to reach your most valuable customers, track actions that people take in your app and measure the success of your ad campaigns.

Note: You don't need the Facebook SDK to run ads for an app on Facebook, but you do need it if you want to optimise your ads for installs, in-app actions ("app events") or high-value customers. You can learn to install the Facebook SDK on your own, work with your app's developer to have them install it for you or partner with a listed Facebook Marketing Partner.
