Optimise video ad quality

Tip: Use shorter videos of 15 seconds or less to get more completed views. See more tips for better mobile video ads.

The easiest way to optimise the quality of your video ad is to upload an HD video.

If you're exporting your video from editing software (for example Final Cut Pro, Avid or iMovie), we recommend these custom settings:

  • H.264 video with AAC audio in MOV or MP4 format
  • An aspect ratio no larger than 1280 px wide and divisible by 16 px. Learn more about video aspect ratios
  • A frame rate at or below 30 fps
  • Stereo audio with a sample rate of 44,100 Hz
