Before you can promote your website, you'll need:

• A published Facebook Page (In order to manage your Page, it must be connected to your personal account).
• A website URL to use in your ad.
• A role on the Facebook Page that allows you to advertise. You'll need to be an admin, editor, moderator or advertiser to advertise on the Page. If you don't think that you have the right role, contact the admin of the Page and request access. Learn more about Page roles.

Create a get more website visitors ad

To promote your website from your Page on desktop:

1. Go to the Page associated with the website that you want to promote.
2. Click the Promote button.
3. Select Get more website visitors.
4. Fill in the details about your ad. We'll automatically pull in text and images to help you create your ad, but you can change these in any way you see fit. Learn how to create a carousel format for your website ad.
5. Click Promote.

The cost to promote your website depends on several factors, such as the geographic location you're targeting and how many people you want to reach. The budget you choose is a daily budget. You'll be charged for impressions on your ad, which may sometimes be less than your budget. When you create your ad, you can choose to run it continuously or set an end date.
