Set up dynamic ads for lead generation
Facebook's dynamic ads for lead generation allow you to let people show their interest in your product or service by sending you their contact details. While standard dynamic ads direct users to an external page where you can decide what event you want to optimise against, dynamic ads for lead generation let you acquire customer information and intent by directing people to submit their information through a native form in the ad unit (pre-filled with the person's information).
This ad format also allows you to personalise the creative in your ad unit to each customer, by creating an ad template that automatically uses images and details from your data feed for things that you'd like to advertise.

Requirements
To create a dynamic ad, you'll need:
- A catalogue. A catalogue contains product information for all items that you'd like to advertise with your Facebook ads. If you've never set up a catalogue, learn more:
Automotive advertisers: Create a vehicles catalogue.
Note: Only retargeting is available at this time.- Travel advertisers: Create a hotel catalogue.
Note: Hotels are the only dynamic travel ads supported at this time. This solution supports retargeting and prospecting for dynamic ads for travel (hotels).
- All other advertisers: Create a product catalogue.
Note: This solution supports retargeting and prospecting for dynamic product ads.
- The Facebook pixel. The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising and understand the actions people take on your website. Learn how to create or modify your pixel.
- Automotive advertisers: Implement pixel for dynamic ads for vehicles.
- Travel advertisers: Implement pixel for dynamic ads for travel (hotels).
- All other advertisers: Implement pixel for your products.
After you've set up a catalogue and pixel, you can create a dynamic ad for lead generation campaign.
Setup
To begin creating your dynamic ads for lead generation campaign:
- Go to Ads Manager.
- Select the Lead Generation objective.
At the ad set level, select your Page.
Note: In order to use this feature, please make sure that the Lead Ads Policies and Terms of Service have been accepted from your Page.
Under Catalogue (optional), select your catalogue and product set.
Note: You must select a catalogue and product set to create a dynamic ad.Select your audience and placement, then click Continue.

- At the ad level, select the carousel format.
- Enter the text, headline, News Feed link description and call to action for your ad.
- Select a lead form to use in your ad. Or create a new lead form.
- When you're ready to publish your ad, click Confirm.
