[♪ music ♪] [Import Your Photos Into Lightroom, with Jason Hoppe] [Jason Hoppe] Before you can start using all the great features of Lightroom, you have to get your images in there. So you'll need to do an import. Click the import button. Lightroom will show you several sources where you can import your images from. I have a folder called Photos on my desktop, and inside there are all my vacation pictures. I can then pick and choose which ones I would like to import. By unchecking the images, those are images that won't be imported. Once I am satisfied with my selection, I'm going to click the import button and they import into Lightroom. Once images have been imported, you'll see them in Lightroom's library module. The first time you import images, they will be automatically added to a collection called My First Collection. These images will be immediately and automatically synchronized to your mobile device and the web. Once I've imported all my images into Lightroom, I can go over to my iPad, and my images are immediately synchronized here in My First Collection. When I click on My First Collection, I have access to all of my images. Now that you have your images in Lightroom, you're ready to make them the best that they can be.
