Conversions
The number of times a specific action like purchase or add to cart was taken, as recorded by your pixel, app or offline event set. Conversions for your reports can be chosen from any available event, custom conversion or offline event that you've set up for your pixel, app or offline event set.
How it's used
Conversions let you see how many times a specific action was completed. The number of conversions that are attributed to impressions, clicks or visits will vary depending on the attribution window and model settings you choose. For example, if you select a 28-day attribution window and the last touch attribution model, then any conversion with least one impression, click or visit in the previous 28 days will be attributed. If you select a 90-day attribution window and a last-click attribution model, then only conversions with a click in the previous 90 days will be attributed.
If your goal is to generate conversions, consider conversions per 1,000 impressions, conversion rate and cost per conversion to understand how efficiently your ad drove conversions.
How it's calculated
This metric counts the number of times the selected conversion happened during the selected reporting period.
Conversions are attributed according to your attribution model and window settings to touchpoints on either paid, organic or direct.
